Size Passport is the open portability layer for body measurements and fit data. Your customers bring their record. You gain verified fit intelligence — with their permission.
Infrastructure model
Open fit portability layer
Each interaction is permissioned, logged, and reversible.
Returns cost more than fit errors
The number one cause of returns in MTM and tailored fashion is fit failure. Most brands don't have structured fit history on their customers — so they guess, every time.
Customer fit data disappears after each order
Measurements taken for one order live in one system. When a customer returns months later — or tries a new brand — the fitting process starts from zero.
There is no shared standard for fit portability
Every brand, tailor, and atelier stores measurements differently — or not at all. Size Passport creates the neutral infrastructure layer that makes data move with the customer.
Size Passport is not a one-way data pull. Brands are active contributors. Every fitting, every garment, every alteration enriches the customer's permanent record — and your own fit intelligence.
All contributions are attributed to your brand and shared back with the customer. The customer sees what you contributed. You gain a verifiable fitting history.
Body measurements
Contribute the measurements your team captures during fittings. Structured by measurement point, unit, and date. These enrich the customer's permanent record.
Finished garment measurements
Record the actual measurements of completed garments — chest, shoulder, waist as made. Combined with body measurements, this generates the customer's ease delta profile.
Fitting outcomes & alterations
Log what was adjusted, why, and the outcome. Alteration notes become part of the customer's permanent fitting history — helping any future brand serve them better.
Fit preferences & notes
Record silhouette preferences, ease choices, posture notes, and customer fit style — structured data that builds the predictive fit profile over time.
Order confirmation & garment record
Confirmed orders with fabric, construction, and garment type data. The customer's garment archive grows with every piece — creating a permanent wardrobe record.
Verified customer fit data
Access structured, customer-owned measurements — verified, timestamped, and shared with explicit consent. No more guessing from a size chart.
From first interaction
Reduce fit-related returns
When you know a customer's real measurements, fitting history, and ease preferences before the first cut, fit failures — and their costs — drop significantly.
Lower return rate
Cumulative fit intelligence
Every fitting you contribute enriches the record. Over time, you build a structured understanding of how your customers fit — across styles, seasons, and silhouettes.
Grows with every order
Brand trust signal
Participating brands signal respect for customer data ownership. In an era where data trust is a competitive differentiator, Size Passport membership is a visible commitment.
Partner badge included
Token incentive model: Brands that contribute high-quality fit data will earn contribution credits, redeemable for enhanced access tiers, priority listing in the partner directory, and API rate upgrades. Early partners will be grandfathered into the most favorable contribution terms.
Partner directory & operator dashboard: A public directory of Size Passport-compatible brands, and a dedicated operator dashboard for managing customer access, reviewing contributed data, and monitoring fitting outcomes.
Size Passport is built on a permission-first architecture. No brand receives access to a customer's fit record without an explicit, individual grant. Every access is logged, scoped, and revocable.
“The customer owns the record. Brands are guests — welcomed in, and shown out, at the customer's discretion.”
Explicit grant required
A brand cannot access any customer data without a specific, dated approval from that customer. No implicit sharing, no bulk access.
Scoped access
Customers choose what they share: full record, measurements only, or specific garment data. Access scope is set at grant time and cannot be expanded without re-approval.
Revocable at any time
Customers can revoke brand access instantly. Revoked brands lose access to all data immediately — including any shared records they previously received.
Full audit trail
Every brand access, contribution, and read event is logged in the customer's record. Both the customer and the brand can review what was accessed and when.
The Size Passport brand workflow is designed to be frictionless for your team and fully transparent for your customer. Every step is explicit, logged, and reversible.
Customer presents QR
The customer opens their Size Passport record and generates a temporary sharing QR code or access token at point of fitting.
Customer actionBrand scans & requests
Your team scans the code using the Size Passport brand portal or API. A structured access request is sent to the customer's record.
Brand actionCustomer approves
The customer reviews the access request — what you're asking to see — and approves with a single tap. They can set scope and expiry at this point.
Customer actionBrand accesses record
Your system receives the customer's structured fit record — measurements, fit preferences, alteration history — ready for immediate use.
Brand receives dataBrand contributes back
After the fitting or order, your brand contributes garment measurements, fitting outcomes, and alteration notes — enriching the customer's permanent record.
Data shared backDirect API integration: Brands will be able to integrate the Size Passport access and contribution workflow directly into their existing fitting software, ERP, or order management system via a RESTful API. Early partners will receive priority access to the private beta and dedicated integration support.
Yes. Every brand access requires an explicit, individual grant from the customer. There is no bulk or implicit access. However, once granted, access persists for the duration the customer specifies — which can be an ongoing relationship or a single session.
The data you contribute is attributed to your brand and becomes part of the customer's record. The customer owns the composite record. Your contribution is logged with your brand identity and is visible to both you and the customer. You do not retain exclusive rights to data once contributed to the ledger.
Fit data is delivered as structured JSON with standard measurement fields (chest, shoulder, waist, inseam, sleeve, etc.), unit preferences (cm or in), and optional fit preference notes. The schema is documented and consistent across all customers and partners.
API integration is in development. Early partners will receive priority access to the private beta. In the interim, brand access is managed through the Size Passport brand portal — a web interface your fitting team can use during appointments.
Early partner access is offered at no cost during the launch phase. Future pricing will be based on access volume and contribution tier. Brands that contribute high-quality fit data will receive the most favorable terms. Details will be shared with early partners first.
